Copy the complete four-group HMS code, for example 0500-0300-0001-0002, from the H2D’s screen or Bambu Handy before clearing anything. The H2D runs the same HMS alert framework as the rest of Bambu’s current lineup, so a code copied from a P-series or single-nozzle guide can point to the wrong component once all four groups are read.
Look up the exact code on the H2D’s own section of Bambu Lab’s wiki, not a P2S or X-series article. The dual-nozzle toolhead and the optional laser or cutting modules give the H2D a few alert paths the single-nozzle printers do not have, even when the first groups of the code look identical.
Check the mechanism the code names before assuming a part failed. Bambu documents the H2D’s homing and leveling failures, extruder motor overload, hotend clogs and nozzle temperature control issues as separate guides, and most start with a simple mechanical check: a stuck flow blocker, a toolhead connector that worked loose after swapping nozzles, or exhausted AMS 2 Pro desiccant.
Do not keep clearing an alert to push a print through when it concerns heating, a fan, toolhead communication or mains power. Stop the printer, let it cool, and follow the service boundary in the official article for that code, especially before touching the laser module if one is installed.
When a fix does not hold, export the printer’s logs and note the firmware version, the full code and which of the two nozzles was active. That gives Bambu Lab support more to work with than a factory reset and hoping the code does not come back.
