Write down the exact numeric code the Centauri Carbon shows before clearing it or restarting. Elegoo also sells a newer Centauri Carbon 2 Combo with a separate multi-material CANVAS system and its own, differently numbered set of codes on the wiki, so check that you are reading the plain Centauri Carbon’s pages and not the Combo’s.
Elegoo documents each code on its own wiki page rather than one combined list. Codes in the 100s generally cover heating and temperature sensors, the 600s cover leveling, and the 700s cover the printer’s fans, but the individual page is what tells you the actual cause and fix, for example code 102 for a heated bed sensor reading wrong or code 605 for a leveling sensor or lead screw height problem.
Check simple causes first: a heated bed or printhead temperature sensor cable that has worked loose inside the printer, a Z-axis lead screw sitting at a different height than the other two, or a leveling sensor connector that needs reseating. Do not force a print through a fan or heater error. An unresolved fan code can leave the hotend or mainboard running hotter than it should, and a heater code that will not clear after checking the cable points to a damaged sensor or heating element that needs replacing, not repeated retries.
When the documented fix for a code does not work, note the exact code, the firmware version and what the printer was doing when it appeared before contacting Elegoo support. That gives them more to work with than a factory reset, which will not fix a damaged sensor or a loose connector.
