Write down the exact error code from the SparkX i7’s screen, letters and numbers together, before clearing it. The printer’s CFS Lite multicolor system introduces its own set of codes, and a code that looks similar to one from an Ender or K1C printer can point to a completely different subsystem.
Creality documents SparkX i7 codes individually on its wiki, separate from the general CFS error code summary that covers Creality’s whole CFS lineup. Look up the exact code on the printer-specific page rather than acting on the short on-screen message; the code page usually lists more than one possible cause.
For a feeding error, check the CFS Lite causes first: a slot that has genuinely run dry with no other slot able to auto-refill, filament stuck between the filament sensor and the extruder gear, or the odometer not detecting enough filament movement because of a pinched PTFE tube or a spool that is not feeding freely. For an extrusion error, confirm the slicer profile, printer settings and the filament actually loaded all match before assuming a hardware fault.
Do not repeatedly restart the printer or force a feed retry as a first response to a filament error. Repeated forced feeding can grind soft filament against the extruder gear, turning a simple jam into a clog that needs the hotend taken apart to clear.
Stop and contact Creality support for a heater error, a Z-axis homing failure that repeats after the documented fix, or anything involving smoke, an unusual smell or a damaged cable.
