Creality K1C maintenance schedule

Follow a Creality K1C maintenance schedule for chamber cleanup, plate care, nozzle inspection, lubrication and self-tests.

The K1C’s enclosure collects purge pieces and fine filament scraps where an open printer would drop them on the table. Clear that debris before each print, especially around the bed’s lower travel.

With the machine off and cool, wipe the body and chamber with a dry cloth. Check the plate for glue or plastic residue and clean it by the surface maker’s method. Inspect the nozzle before printing and after a filament change; remove residue only after heating it with a suitable tool and keeping clear of wires.

Creality’s K1C 2025 manual lists nozzle replacement at 500 cumulative print hours, motion-axis lubrication at 500 hours and equipment self-tests at 300 hours. Treat those as the documented schedule for that revision, not a universal rule for every K1C. Check the table for your exact model.

Lubricate only the named axes with the recommended product. Belts, fans and arbitrary chamber surfaces do not improve when covered in grease. Keep foreign material off the build plate and out of electronics.

Listen for changes. A fan that starts rattling, a rough axis or repeated leveling failure needs inspection before the next overnight job. User maintenance ends where heater wiring, mains power and unsupported disassembly begin.

Record print hours, nozzle replacements, lubrication and unusual noises. A dated note makes Creality support far more useful if a fault develops.
