Mount the spool so it unwinds cleanly through the runout sensor. Cut a fresh tip and straighten the first section.
Preheat to the current material’s extrusion temperature. Release the extruder lever, insert filament until it reaches the hotend and use the screen’s load control until flow is steady.
For unloading, heat first, retract a small amount and pull only when the drive releases. A cold pull made by force can damage the path or leave a plug.
Purge material changes at the higher suitable temperature until the old color is gone, then return to the new spool’s normal setting. Secure the unloaded end before it crosses under another winding.
Between spool changes, keeping filament dry matters just as much as clean loading technique — see the general guide on filament storage and spool handling for that side of things. On the software side, the Cura profile setup for this Pro covers the temperature and start G-code settings referenced during loading.
