Bambu Lab P1S calibration: the useful routines

Run Bambu Lab P1S machine and filament calibration for the right reason, then save a known-good baseline.

Run the P1S machine calibration after initial setup, a move to another surface, firmware instructions or motion service. Keep the enclosure clear and do not touch the frame while it measures vibration.

Bed leveling belongs at the start of a diagnostic when first-layer height changes across known filament. Clean the nozzle and plate first. A plastic dot under the nozzle can turn a correct machine into a bad measurement.

Flow dynamics and flow-rate tests belong to the filament preset. Use them for a dry third-party material that prints consistently wrong, not for a single dirty-plate failure. Change one calibration layer at a time and keep the original system preset available.

If the printer makes a new mechanical noise or reports a sensor error, stop. Calibration measures the machine; it does not repair damaged hardware.
