Bambu Studio profile setup for the P1S

Configure Bambu Studio for a P1S with the correct nozzle, plate, filament mapping and enclosure-aware material settings.

Add the exact P1S and installed nozzle through Bambu Studio’s configuration wizard. Select the physical plate before slicing because that choice changes temperature and first-layer behavior.

Start third-party filament with the generic preset for its polymer. Tune a duplicate, not the protected baseline. For PLA, follow the profile’s door or top-cover guidance; a sealed chamber can become warm enough to soften filament above the hotend.

Use Preview to inspect the first layer, supports, bridges and AMS color changes. Confirm the printer, nozzle, plate and filament mapping immediately before sending the job.

Name custom profiles plainly, such as Generic PETG P1S 0.4. If a later print fails, that label makes it possible to reproduce or discard the exact settings instead of guessing.
