Copy the full code and the on-screen message before clearing anything. QIDI’s documented examples span routine notices, such as an external-material-exhausted alert or a prompt to insert filament, to connectivity issues like an MQTT binding error, and the fix differs completely depending on which category the code falls into.

Treat a filament or material alert as a routine, owner-serviceable message first: reload the spool or clear the path the message describes, and confirm the runout sensor is seated correctly. Treat a connectivity code, like the MQTT error, as a re-pairing task, unbind the account in the app, scan the printer’s QR code again and log back in, rather than a hardware problem.

For a print-stop warning without a specific cause listed, or any code not covered on the MAX4’s wiki pages, check the printer’s own QDC panel on the touchscreen or QIDI Studio first. It surfaces a description and suggested steps for that exact alert, updated as QIDI documents more codes for this printer over time.

Stop and contact QIDI support through the MAX4 support channel for a heater or chamber-temperature code, given the printer’s 65°C chamber and 370°C nozzle, or for any code that returns immediately after following the documented fix.
